Admission Procedure for CA:
After clearing class 10th exam with good percentage students can enroll in Common Proficiency Test (CPT).After this you will have complete two years i.e. 11th and 12th to prepare for the CPT entrance exam simuntansly.Then one can give the entrance exam after 12th std in December.
Once CPT Entrance exam is given then you should register for Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC) there must be a gap of ten months between CPT and IPCC.
On cracking IPCC, you do the CA Final course and are mandated to undergo a three-year article ship under a practicing CA. Attempt the final examination during the last
Six months of your article ship. Another short training called General Management and Communication Skills (GMCS) course is required before you apply for a CA membership.
For fresher Charted Accountant the pay package starts from Rs 5lakh to Rs 10lakh per annum where as the big scale companies offer the salary for fresher’s from 6 lakhs to 12 lakhs per annum.As per the experience and performance the salary increases.Indira Gandhi National Open University offers a special BCom in accountancy and finance.
Students enrolling for the BCom degree are exempted from certain subjects covered in the CA programme. Similarly, IGNOU also offers a specialized MCom programme in finance and taxation to CA Final year students.
