Study in Pharmacy deals with the study related to the health science. It is one of the main branches under Biomedical Science and the pharmaceutical industry. Eligibility criteria & Course Details: Admission to the Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) requires a pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Biology. The courses which  are offered in pharmacy are

1. 2 years Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm),

2.4 years Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm),

3.2 years Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm)  and Ph.d programs.

  1. CET: Common Entrance Test which is conducted by each state for seeking admissions into engineering colleges and medical colleges.

2. ENAT – Manipal University conducts this test for admission to College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Manipal.

3. AIMS Medical Entrance- This test is conducted by Amrita Institute of Medical Science. The School of Pharmacy in Cochin takes the AIMS score.

4. Poona College of Pharmacy B Pharm Entrance Exam – This test is conducted by the Poona college of Pharmacy which is affiliated to the Bharatiya Vidyapeeth University.

5. EAMCET – This test is conducted by the Andhra University. Most pharmacy college under this university takes the EAMCET scores.

No NCTE approved M.Ed colleges/universities in Sambalpur or any other place admit the students only after B.Ed
