Pre-Primary training: There are many polytechnic colleges and vocational training centers which provide training for training for pre-school teachers. Candidates passed 12th with 50% are eligible for the training. There are private Montessori training schools which even provide training in the cities.

 Primary teacher training:

 Primary teacher training is given the candidates who opt to make career in teaching. For this the basic eligibility criteria is passing class 12th.The candidates can study diploma in education D.Ed. and are eligible to teach the students from class 1 to 8th.Doctor Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya at Gour Nagar, Sagar 470003, Madhya Pradesh conducts a 2 year Diploma course after Higher Secondary to train teachers for primary teaching.

While this is one institute, normally teachers with Bachelors in education teach the Primary classes when they begin their career and gradually move up to teach higher classes.

 Secondary and senior secondary teachers training.

 In order to get this post one has to complete bachelor of education i.e. B.Ed. degree and the duration of this course is 1 yr.Teachers having B.Ed. degree after graduation are called Trained Graduate Teachers. There are some universities which even offer B.Ed.

You should take branch according to your interest, if you have interest in software or programming choose computer science, if you have interest in machines, choose mechanical, etc, some good engineering colleges are test_testing
