CAT 2019 Important Dates Released

The date of CAT 2019 is 24th of November 2019. You have been thinking about this date just because you wish to apply to one of the 20 IIMs in India and other MBA colleges for the year 2020. As you know, IIMs conduct this test every year in rotation.

For the year 2019, the test is going to be conducted by IIM Kozhikode. The test will be conducted in a couple of sessions on this day at more than 400 test centres across India. Records show that last year nearly 2.4 lakh candidates registered for CAT Exam.

IIM News Release:

IIM, Kozhikode released the details about CAT and date for 2019 and other important dates. The notification also stated that the CAT 2019 test will be conducted for a total of 180 minutes. The test will have questions from the following sections:

  • Quantitative Ability
  • Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning
  • Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension

The convening authority also stated that tutorials to understand the test format will be made available on the official CAT Website from the 16th of October 2019.

Now, you know that for all IIMs, you will have to secure at least 80 percentile. But, you need not have to lose hope if you could not score this much. The reason is that apart from IIMs many other B-Schools admit candidates based on the CAT score. Aim at IIMs and only then you can land in one of the reputed B-Schools in India.
