Common Entrance Exam (CAT) is one of the management entrance exam conducted for the admission of management courses in IIMs and other top B-Schools across India for the academic year 2015-16. Common Entrance Test (CAT) will be conducted in the month of October every year.
The test is conducted to test the ability of the students analytical and communication skills. The test consists of data interpretation skills, Verbal ability, Quantitative ability and logical reasoning to test the students that they are eligible for the Business Administration Course.
Any Graduate is eligible to attend this Entrance Test for the Management Programmes offered by IIMs. Preparation for the test requires minimum of three to four months of duration.

- Duration of the test will be of 2 hours 50 min.
- Test paper consists of 100 questions which have to answer within 170 min.
- Test paper consists of two sections.
- Each section consists of 50 questions each.
- Each section will be of 85 min time.
