IBS Aptitude Test (IBSAT) is an entrance examination conducted by IBS Business School, which is a part of ICFAI Group. This exam is an admission test for candidates to join PGPM/MBA and all other PhD programmes. This is a single window computer based test that happens for duration of 22 days, commencing from December 10th 2014 and ends by December 31st 2014. Candidates are requested to complete their registration to appear IBSAT exam before 1st of December.

IBS Locations

Through IBS aptitude test, candidates can apply for 9 IBS campuses, such as Hyderabad, Bangalore, Jaipur, Mumbai, Kolkatta, Dehradun, Pune, Gurgoan and Ahmadabad. This aptitude test will have about 120 questions, all multiple choices, and the time duration for candidates to complete the test is about two hours.

Eligibility Criteria

IBSAT is an entrance examination for the two year MBA programme and the eligibility for candidates to get selected for this is as follows.

  • Under graduation in any discipline, minimum percentage should be 50% and above
  • English medium of education in UG is a mandatory for MBA
  • Candidates should have completed minimum 17 years of education (10+2+3+2) or (10+2+4+2).

IBS business school management has set a deadline from August 25th to check the eligibility list and those applicants who don’t meet the requirements will be discarded.

Test Subjects

IBSAT exam is conducted to test the ability of the candidate in many different subjects, such as

  1. Data Interpretation
  2. Quantitative Techniques
  3. Analytical Reasoning
  4. Vocabulary

Admission Fees

Candidates who want to apply for this exam will have to pay Rs.1500 as admission fees. There is a common application form for all IBS campuses that makes the applying process easy for the candidates.

Modes of Payment

The application procedure is very flexible that candidates can decide to apply via post or through online IBSAT website. When applying online, there will be multiple pages to various requiring details and candidates are requested to be very careful when entering their personal and other required details in the form. On completing the required columns on the application form, the site will direct you to payment page. Once you have done the payment, make sure to check your email for the confirmation on your payment and draft the mail safely for any references, if required later.  If you prefer to apply via post, you can buy your application forms from any of your nearest IBS offices.
