The PGDM Programme approved by the AICTE  under the banner of DSBS came into the existence in the year 2007.It was conceived with the objective to meet the growing needs of the management graduates

in the corporate sector of the Indian economy. As the programme offered is autonomous it is aimed to flagship and the vibrant programme of the institution. The PGDM Department in the college track the record in making the  higher education accessible to those who have never previously been given the opportunity to study and also has enriched the lives of the whole generations of the students.

The Programme structure

The two years full time PGDM programme at dayananda sagar business school prepares the students to assume the leadership roles. The programme  is approved by the all India council for the technical education ministry of HRd, government of India, New Delhi. The programme also offers the dual specializations.

The first two academic terms basically focus on the course work. The remaining 3 terms provide the students with the opportunity to pursue study in the field of the special interests. It will thus include the set of core and elective courses. In between the first and the second year study there is also the summer project alignment which attempts to integrate theory with the practice. We also believe that our management graduates will equip them with an intellectual depth that is will be suited for the wide range of professional careers. Dayananda sagar business school thus prepares the business leaders to face the challenges of tomorrow .On successful completion of the programme requirements the student is awarded PGDM equivalent to the MBA degree as recognized by the AICTE.

The evaluation system

The overall performance of the student is indicated by two indices viz term grade point average and the cumulative grade point average. The evaluation is done on the 10 point scale viz A+ to F fail. The assessment tools are embedded in the academic structure itself and also will allow the academic progress to be assessed on the continuous basis. The Eligibility and the selection process

All the students with the bachelor's degree in any discipline from the recognized university with the minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or the candidates appearing for the final year exam preparation can also apply. The applicant would have appeared in the MAT/CAT examinations or also will have to appear in May MAT examinations. The candidates will also be selected based on the performance on the written test, the group discussion and the personal interview.
