MBA Admission Process in Maharashtra

Maharashtra – MBA/MMS - Common Entrance Test (MAH MBA/MMS CET) is conducted by Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra for admission to post graduation management degree MBA/MMS and PGDBM/PGDM courses in Government, University Managed and Unaided Institutes of Maharashtra. Students from all over India can apply for MAH-CET.  Candidates who are applying from all India seats can apply through CAT/MAT (Feb)/JMET/XAT/ATMA scores.

There are more than 200 institutes of different universities in Maharashtra in which admission is through MAH-CET. All these institutes have an intake capacity of about 60 seats. A large number of candidates from all over Maharashtra and rest of India apply for MAH MBA/MMS CET. The main reason for applying is the image of the colleges under MAH MBA/MMS CET. A huge number of A grade colleges fall under this examination.

Eligibility criteria:

To apply for MAH-MBA/MMS-CET a candidate must have a bachelor’s degree with atleast 45% aggregate marks (40% for Maharashtra Backwards Classes). Those in the final year of their graduation can also apply.

Availability of Application forms for MAH-MBA/MMS-CET:

The application kits for MAH CET are expected to be available by January in the designated post offices across Maharashtra and also GPOs of selected big cities. After buying the application kit candidates have to apply online at www.dte.org.in/mba.

Examination pattern:

The Entrance exam will be of 150 minutes duration consisting of 200 objective type questions. Questions will be from the following topics: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude and Logical / Abstract Reasoning

Both NEET and AIPMT are conducted for admission to MBBS and BDS Courses, NEET is national level test, while AIPMT is conducted by CBSE for admission to these courses in government medical and dental colleges of all places including Kottayam

No, for getting admission in IIMs for management course, you should have to clear entrance exam, but there are many other MBA colleges in Tiruttani where without entrance you can take admission
