The Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow has now introduced a two years full time residential Post graduate programme in Sustainable Management(PGP-SM).The course here will be conducted at Indian Institute of management, Lucknow, Noida's campus.

 The program here will basically focus on

1. Systemic Linkages among the environmental, social and economic issues.

2. Cross-sector collaborations

3. Critical Perspectives on policy and institutions

4. Change management preparation

5. Environmental, social and Economic Sustainability.

6. Focus on Management and policy analysis.

Total 45 seats are available

 The Eligibility Criteria

The candidate here should have a bachelor degree in any discipline and clear it with at least 50% with at least two years of Professional experience.45% in case of SC/ST/PWD category or its equivalent.

The last date to apply is Oct 31st, 2013.

 The course fee structure for the program is Rs 10,96,000.

 Nowadays there is lot of awareness in the society about the environmental degradation, global warming, climate change and socio-economic implications of ever increasing corporate power, nation states are forcing business to mould their business strategies to align with the sustainable development objectives of the country as well as the globe. There are many Management colleges in India, Management Institutes in India and IIM-L is one among them. IIM Lucknow ,become the first IIM to establish a dedicated center of excellence for business sustainability.

 Application Forms for the Program can be downloaded from the college official website. The last date for the application is Oct 31st, 2013. Admissions to the program are basically done on the Common Admission Test (CAT) Score and GMAT Score for NRI candidates. As the changes are taking place in the business environment, the businesses have to deal with a wide range of the stakeholders that have dynamically evolving, diverse and often there are lot of conflicting demand and expectations from the business.

 At the same time the Indian Public policies too are undergoing the radical transformations to meet the changing development needs of the country including that of business. To run the business in a sustainable manner, the managers would also need to keep the transformations in the regulatory frameworks and then keep in line with the policy requirements.
