With the concern of uplifting different educational and other social developments including the remote areas like Vasai Taluka, a charitable trust came into being in the name of Late Shri Vishnu Waman Thakur Charitable Trust in the year 1988. The main focus of the trust was to provide medical and educational needs and providing social facilities to the people of that area. After some structural revivals the original institute in the name of UTKARSHA VIDYALAYA has become VIVA COLLEGE from the year 2000. The institute has updated itself as per the needs of the time. Now the instate runs different courses to meet the growing demand of different types of students and the present job market as well.
