The Final Placements report of XLRI 2012-14

Xavier School of Management recently has displayed thier final placements for HR and BM batch of 2012-14. Out of total 245 students ,4 students opted for family business and entrepreneurial ventures.As per the informations that is provided by the institute 114 companies were supposed to come out of which 103 companies participated in the placement process.

90 Companies gave the offer to the students. Two students also got the international roles.

ICICI Bank gave 10 offers, ITC gave 9 offers, and Axis Bank gave 8 offers were the best and leading recruiters this year. In the BM Batch, sales and marketing was leading and 31.15% of the batch was recruited. Next was the Finance branch were 30% of the students got hired for the Finance company.

As per the review the overall average salary that was offered was 16.25 lakhs per annum.

Finance

Recruiters from this finance domain includes Aviva,Axis Bank,Bharati Axa,BNP Paribas, Citibank, Creador, CRISIL, Development Bank of Singapore, Deutsche bank, Goldman Sachs, HDFC, HSBC, ICICI Bank, Indusland Bank, ING Vysya Bank, JP Morgan chase, Nomura, Standard Chartered, UBS and Yes Bank.

HDFC Bank also offered the roles in its treasury department.Corporate banking roles were also offered by Citibank and HSBC.

Marketing, Operations and Human Resource

Asian Painrs, Castrol, Coca-Cola, Colgate, Palmolive, GSK, CH, HCCB, ITC, Johson and Johson, L'Oreal, Marico, Mars, Mondelez, Nestle, P&G, Pepsi, Puma, Reckitt benckiser, Unilever were the other roles that were offered in sales and Marketing and HR branches.

DUPont even offered the marketing leadership development roles. Bosch, Crompton Greaves, Siemens, Shell and trident recruited students for the HR Function.

DTDC, ITC, JSL, Lodha Group and tata steel were the roles offered in supply chain and procurement.

General Management

Adity Birla Group, Hinduja Group, Mahindra and Mahindra, Reliance industries, RPG and TAS offered the roles in this doamin.

Consulting

Accenture strategy, Capgemini consulting, Cognizanr Business consulting, Deloitte, Ernst and yoing, Everest group, Hay group, iCRM, KPMG, McKinsey&Co, Pricewaterhouse Coopers, The Boston consulting group, TSMG and the Vector consulting were the names of the few companies who were recurited for this funtion..

Ernst and Young were offered for the transaction advisory roles.

Communications and Networking: Airtel, Cisco, Ericsson and Vodafone were some of the companies which recruited from the Communications and Networking sector.

E-Commerce: Amazon, Flipkart and Jabong offered roles in sales & marketing, HR and operations.

Conglomerates: Aditya Birla Group, Hinduja Group, Mahindra & Mahindra, Reliance Industries, RPG and TAS offered general management roles in this sector.

FMCG

The maximum numbers of students were recruited i.e 17.65% from the HR Program. Asian Paints, Castrol, Coca-Cola, Colgate Palmolive, GSK CH, HCCB, ITC, Johson and Johson, L'Oreal, Marico, Mars, Mondelez, Nestle, P&G, Pepsi, Reckitt Benckiser, last but not the least Unilever also offered the role in this sector.

BFSI

More than 30% of the students from the BM batch were recurited in this sector.The other recruiters included Aviva, Axis Bank, BharatiAxa, BNP Paribas, Citibank, Creador, CRISIL, Development Bank of Singapore, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, HDFC , HSBC, ICICI Bank, IndusInd Bank, ING Vysya Bank, JP Morgan Chase, Nomura, Standard chartered, UBS and the Yes Bank.
