DU MET

DUMET Stands for Delhi University Medical Dental Entrance test.

 This Entrance Exam is mainly conducted by University of Delhi for seeking admissions into medical courses like MBBS and BDS.

 The eligibility criteria:

 The candidate who has completed 10+2 in science stream with  Physics, Chemistry and Biology and English as one of the subjects or any equivalent degree with 50% Passed Percentage are eligible for appearing in this exam.

 The candidates should have completed secondary education and higher secondary education from a well recognized university situated within national Capital territory of Delhi.

 Age Criteria:

 The candidates must have completed 17yrs of age at the time of admissions on or before 31st of December of the year for which the entrance exam will be conducted.

 Once after clearing the entrance exam one can apply to the colleges Few among them are

 LHMC-Lady Harding Medical College

MAMC-Mauling Azad Medical College

UCMS-University College of Medical Sciences

MAIDS-Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciencce.

DU MET is basically held in 3rd week of May.

The examinations are held at various centers at delhi.

The admissions Procedure is strictly based on the merit obtained in the entrance exam.

The application form can be obtained from various colleges at delhi.

Both NEET and AIPMT are conducted for admission to MBBS and BDS Courses, NEET is national level test, while AIPMT is conducted by CBSE for admission to these courses in government medical and dental colleges of all places including Jehanabad
