AIPMT Answer Key

The All India Pre-Medical Test called as AIPMT for the year 2016 was held on 1st of May 2016. This test was conducted as the initial phase of the National Eligibility Entrance Test shortly called as NEET. The test was conducted in across 29 centres in the city of Chandigarh. This test is for admission to the BDS and MBBS courses across the country.

Appeared number of students in Chandigarh:

In the centres in the city of Chandigarh alone, more than 10,000 students appeared for the test. When talking to the students, it was found that the paper was easier and also they stated that the paper was more balanced as against the last year. One of the students, who appeared for the test, claimed that the biology section was lengthier as compared to that of physics and chemistry sections. It was also claimed by some students that the biology section had some questions out of the NCERT syllabus.

What do local educationists feel?

Experts are of the opinion that CBSE should give grace marks for some incorrect questions in the paper that had more than a single answer. It was said by one of the experts that letters were already been sent to the CBSE about these inappropriate questions.

Students can check their correctness:

Candidates, who attended the test on 1st May, might be interested in evaluating their marks and this is where the AIPMT answer keys published by some of the popular coaching institutions across the country will be helpful for them. However, the official answer key from CBSE will be released from 24th to 26th May 2016.

Candidates can download the official answer key from CBSE website by providing their registration number and password.

Released within 3-4 hours:

To make sure that the test-takers can understand their stand in the AIPMT scoring, some of the private coaching institutions like Aakash, Career Point, Allen Kota and Resonance released their answer keys just within 3-4 hours of the completion of the test. The answer keys are now available for all sets of question papers, which means for all codes D/S/Z, C/R/Y, B/Q/X, A/P/W.

Before the publication of official answer key:

As mentioned earlier, CBSE will publish the official answer key from 24th to 26th of May 2016. But, before this publication, the board will publish the replica of the AIPMT 2016 OMR Sheet of the test takers for three days from the 19th of May to 23rd of May. So, candidates are recommended to download their appropriate OMR answer sheets, so that they can check the correctness of their answer by comparing the same with the official answer key. Candidates can download the same by logging into their appropriate CBSE account.

Challenging opportunity:

In case, candidates have doubt or find that the answer given in the official answer key is wrong, they can challenge CBSE within the specific timeline through online window that will be made available for this purpose.

So, now candidates can check their answers with the unofficial answer keys published by many coaching institutions today.
