BBA Vs. BBM:

Both Bachelor Of Business Administration and Bachelor Of Business Management courses have commerce and management oriented subjects and these courses have gained rapid importance in the present world of industrialization. This industrialization led to the development of a scientific approach towards business. Even though, the name of these two courses differ, both of them are more into business and they are offered for a period of three years and they have many similarities with respect to core content and curriculum. The core components of these two courses encompass business law, international trade, organizational behaviour, marketing and Human Resource Management.

What are the main differences between BBA and BBM?

While Bachelor of Business Management course was developed with a view to make students comfortable with the management techniques prevailing the corporate world, the aim of BBA is to make the students understand the process of not just managing, but also supervising business and other related operations in an organization. When it comes to significant difference between these two courses, the fact is that BBM provides specialization in a wide range of areas like marketing, finance and HR, most universities and colleges offer BBA as a general course without any specific specialization option for students to choose.

Higher studies:

After completion of both these courses, MBA is the most chosen course by most students, while some of them opt for MS in accounting or finance as well, with a view to join the finance or banking sector. Those doing MS will also be in a position to find jobs in medical administration, insurance, retail and banking sectors.

BMS:

BMS stands for Bachelor in Management Studies and it is a three year UG course on business management and the course mainly focuses on analytical and logical oriented studies. The important objective of this course is to produce trained management professionals in the present competitive market. The fundamental objective behind the introduction of this course in universities is to meet the increasing demand for professionally certified management executives.

Candidates interested in taking up a career in the field of management can apply for this course after successful completion of their higher secondary in any stream of education.

Generally, many students get a doubt as to whether BBA or BBE, which is better? BBE stands for Bachelor of Business Economics. The fact is that both these courses are related to the field of business. While the former is focused on management and administration, the latter is focused on economics and financial management. Both these courses offer better job prospects and it is recommended that candidates should decide whether they have more interest towards economics or business administration when they are confused with respect to the selection among these two courses.
