Acharya Girish Chandra Bose College, Kolkata invites application for admission to BA/B.Sc./B.Com (Hons and General) for 2016 session.

Eligibility:

  • Students who have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination or its equivalent Examination in the year 2016
  • The candidate is eligible to seek admission to the 1st year of 3yr B.Com (Hons & General) and B.A. (Hons & General) Courses of Studies provided he/she has also passed in English having Full Marks of not less than 100 and subject to fulfilment of other conditions as laid down in the University notification for B.Com (Honours/General) Courses of Studies
  • Aggregate Marks is calculated from the Four Passed Subjects excluding Compulsory Environmental Education/Studies
  • Patrachar/ Correspondence Courses / Open School students  are not eligible

Application fee of Rs.100/- is to be deposited at any branches of "Bank of Baroda" in West Bengal within 2 days from the date of Online Form Submission

After submission of Form the candidate must take a printout the Application Form (2 pages) along with the Bank Receipt 1 (One page): Total 3 (Three) pages

Out of this 04 (four) parts of Bank Receipt, two will be kept by the Bank and the Candidate will keep other two counterparts duly sealed & signed by the Bank Authority

Documents required at the time of admission:

  • Original Admit Card for Secondary or Equivalent Examination for verification of Age Proof
  • two Passport / Stamp Size Colour Photographs
  • Mark sheet of H.S (10+2) / or Equivalent Examination - 2016
  • OBC-A / OBC-B certificate in the name of the candidate to be produced, at the time of Form Verification/Submission, if applicable
  • SC/ST certificate
  • Attested copies of (1), (3), (4) & (5)

Course Fees:

B.Com (Hons) Course: Rs.2090/-;

B.Com (General) Course: Rs.1940/-;

B.A. (Hons) Course: Rs. 2030/-;

B.A. (General) Course: Rs. 1880/-

Important Dates:

Online Admission for the information regarding Admission to 1st year classes in B.Com (Hons), B.Com (Gen), BA (Hons) in Bengali, BA (Hons) in English & BA General will be started from 03rd June 2016 to23rd June 2016 till 05.00 P.M.

1st Provisional Merit List will be display on 26th June 2016 at (02.00 p.m.)

Date of Documents verification & Admission 30th June 2016, 01st July and 02nd July 2016 from 11:00 A.M.

1st Year Classes shall commence on and from last: Week of July, 2016

Both NEET and AIPMT are conducted for admission to MBBS and BDS Courses, NEET is national level test, while AIPMT is conducted by CBSE for admission to these courses in government medical and dental colleges of all places including Mahendergarh

You should consider the fee structure and if you consider doing this course from other place except Darjeeling, you should consider hostel facilities, you shouldalso consider whether the subject in which you wish to continue this course is available in the college.
