Applications Invited by DU for UG Programs

University of Delhi also known informally as Delhi University or DU is one of the most prominent universities under the Central Government, situated in Delhi, India, which was established in 1922. DU is famous for the standard of education it has maintained over the past few years and its premium faculty which comprises of eminent scholars.

University of Delhi has invited applications for admissions to BMS Honors (Bachelor in Management Studies), Honors in Business Economics, Bachelor of Arts (B.A) and Bachelor of Business Analysis (BBA) programs for Financial Investment for the new session of 2016.


  • The interested candidate should have appeared and passed in the month of March or April, 2016 in the school examination of Senior Secondary Education from any recognized board, which is entertained by the University of Delhi.
  • The interested candidate should have a minimum of 60% aggregate in his or her respective examination.
  • The respective candidate should have qualified the Senior Secondary School Examination with English and Mathematics and two other subjects as per the elective subjects approved by university of Delhi.

Selection Procedure:

  • The selection process for courses such as BMS and BBA will include several rounds including performance in the Joint Admission Test, a group discussion, performance in class XII and an Interview.
  • The selection procedure for candidates applying for B.A (Hons.) Business Economics will be based entirely on the performance in class XII and in the entrance test.
  • The distribution of the marks obtained by the interested candidates in various examinations will be distributed according the list mentioned below.

How to apply:

  • Interested candidates can apply online through the official website.
  • The fee for the application form is Rs 600, Rs 800 and Rs 1000 for one, two and three courses respectively, in the general category.
  • Fee for SC, ST and PwD candidates who wish to apply is Rs 300, Rs 400 and Rs 500 for one, two and three courses respectively.

Important Dates:

  • Last date for the online application: June 05, 2016.
  • The downloading of admit cards will commence from June 8, 2016 and will end on June 10, 2016.
  • The Joint Admission Test will be conducted on June 14, 2016.
  • The list of shortlisted candidates for BBA or BMS will be displayed by the university on June 22, 2016. The shortlisted candidates will go through an Interview and a GD.
  • GD and PI (personal interview) will take place on 25th June, 2016 and 2nd July 2016.
  • The final result will be declared on 4th of July, 2016
