IIM Lucknow’s Noida campus launches IPFX in collaboration with McGill University Canada

IIM Lucknow’s Noida campus has announced the first one year full time residential MBA program in finance for executives. This International Program in Finance for Executives (IPFX 2010-11) has been launched in collaboration with McGill University, Canada. The commencement of the program will take place on Friday, October 1, 2010.

This IPFX is mainly meant for middle or senior level professionals from corporate, banking, insurance, government sector, cost accountants etc. “This MBA program will prepare them for advanced careers in Finance with an emphasis on the Indian and international business environments through a comprehensive and challenging curriculum to be jointly delivered by the Desautels Faculty Management, McGill University, Canada,” said a spokesperson from IIM Lucknow’s Noida campus. According to them, the program will integrate the advanced financial theory and quantitative methods with real-world business practice.

After the completion of this program, the successful students would be awarded dual degrees from both the MBA institutes of India and Canada. McGill University, Canada will provide Master of Management, and the Post Graduate Diploma in Finance for Executives will be awarded by IIM Lucknow.

In order to pursue this MBA program candidates must have Bachelor’s degree with minimum 55 per cent marks along with quantitative skills. Candidates should have minimum of five years full time post qualification work experience as on September 30, 2010. GMAT scores of the candidates will be taken into account, which has to be obtained from February 1, 2007 to January 31, 2010.

The last date of application for IPFX is Monday, February 1, 2010. Candidates who are shortlisted will have to apply online to McGill University by Thursday, April 15, 2010.
