Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology announced to conduct a workshop on Machine Learning and its Applications

Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology announced to conduct a workshop on Machine Learning and its Applications from 30th June to 2nd July 2014.

Course offered: workshop on Machine Learning and its Applications

This workshop is being organised by Department of Mathematics in collaboration with the Department of Avionics and the Department of Earth & Space Sciences.

Objectives of the course:

The main aim of the workshop is to discuss the advanced topics and recent developments in the field of machine Learning, which deals with the study of algorithms and methods that allow computers to learn.

The Machine Learning area is fast growing and it has wide range of applications. Postgraduate students, research scholars, scientists, people from industry and faculty members with basic level knowledge in Machine Learning techniques are invited to attend this workshop to enhance their knowledge in the said field.

Registration fee:

  • Candidates have to pay Fee for the workshop is INR 300 for students and faculty members.
  • And candidates of INR 500 for others.
  • Registration fee will be paid in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of The Registrar, IIST payable at Thiruvananthapuram.

Applicants invite to attend:

  • Postgraduate students
  • Research scholars
  • Scientists
  • People from industry and faculty members with basic level knowledge in Machine Learning techniques.
