Minimum Qualifications Required by DU for Mathematical Science Courses for admissions 2017

University of Delhi has invited applications to provide admissions to the eligible students for undergraduate courses for the academic year of 2016. Application can be filled from 28th May, 2016 to 15th June, 2016.

The minimum required eligibility for courses in Mathematical Science is mentioned below:-

Computer Science:

  • Mathematics, one language and two other subjects are necessary as academic subjects.
  • The minimum required percentage is to be cleared.
  • The candidate should have 60 or more marks in Mathematics.
  • The candidate should have secured a minimum of 55 percent in aggregate including mathematics, one language and two other subjects.
  • Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of percentage acquired in the best of four subjects with mathematics and one language as compulsory subjects.
  • Students who have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics listed as their academic subjects will be given an additional weightage of 5 percent.

Mathematics, Statistics:

  • The candidate should have secured a minimum of 50 percent marks in Mathematics and an aggregate of minimum 45 percent should be scored in the qualifying examination
  • The merit will depend on one language, Mathematics in the academic subject and two other subjects.

Important Dates:

  • Duration of online registration- 28th May, 2016 to 15th June, 2016.
  • Issue & Receipt of Registration Forms at the Registration centres- 5th June, 2016 to 15th June 2016.
  • First Admission list by the colleges will be notified on 25th June,2016.
  • The process of admission and the payment of fee will be from 25th June, 2016 to 27th June, 2016
  • Second Admission list by the colleges will be notified on 30th June, 2016.
  • The process of admission and the payment of fee will be from 30th June, 2016 to 2nd July, 2016.
  • Third Admission list by the colleges will be notified on 4th July, 2016.
  • The process of admission and the payment of fee will be from 4th July, 2016 to 7th July, 2016.
  • Fourth Admission list by the colleges will be notified on 9th July, 2016.
  • The process of admission and the payment of fee will be from 9th July, 2016 to 11th July, 2016.
  • Fifth Admission list by the colleges will be notified on 14th July, 2016.
  • The process of admission and the payment of fee will be from 14th July, 2016 to16th July, 2016.
  • Sixth Admission list by the colleges will be notified on 20th July, 2016.
  • The process of admission and the payment of fee will be from 20th July, 2016 to 22nd July, 2016.
  • Seventh Admission list by the colleges will be notified on 24th July, 2016.
  • The process of admission and the payment of fee will be from 24th July, 2016 to 27th July, 2016.
