NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology) invites applications for admission to Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes, going to be held in 2016 in its 15 constituent colleges.
It was established in 1986 under the aegis of the Textiles, Government. Many notable designers like Prabal Gurung, Ritu Beri, Manish Arora, Rajesh Pratap Singh, JJ Valaya, Sabyasachi Mukherjee, are NIFT alumni. NIFT have its head office at Delhi with centres all over India namely at Mumbai, Kolkata, Kangra, Gandhinagar, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Raebareli, Patna,Shillong, Bhopal, Kannur, Bhubaneswar and Jodhpur

Candidates applying for undergraduate programmes must have passed senior secondary examination from well recognized board of education
Candidates applying for postgraduate programmes must have a Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline in design from any recognized university.
• The medium of instruction in NIFT is English and all aspirants applying to NIFT
must possess working knowledge of English language
• All aspirants applying to NIFT must possess basic computing knowledge and skill
as applied to operating system, word processing, text editing, spread sheet, data
base application, presentation as well as net surfing abilities
Guidelines for preparation:
NIFT entrance exam contains objective type questions. The questions will check candidates
Quantitative Ability, Communication Ability, English Comprehension, Analytical Ability, General Knowledge and Current Affairs

To apply for NIFT entrance exam candidate have to fill the online application form.
Last date for online registration is January 10, 2016.
Entrance exam will be held on February 8 and 22, 2016.
Personal interview and group discussion will be held from April to May 2016.
