Post Graduate Diploma Course In Transmission & Distribution System 2014

Central Board of Irritation and Power was set up by the government of India for monitoring & power development of our country in the pre-independence era.It is now committed towards the development of irrigation, Power & Renewable Energy sections of the country through their human resources development.

This course is of 26 week and it’s a practical oriented course which covers the complete syllabus in conformity with CEA regulations 2010 to be held in Gurgaon (NCR).

It is growing very rate and lot of trained manpower required for its work. The main aim of this course is to enhance the employability of fresh engineers and groom them to work properly.

  • Post Graduate Diploma Course in O&M of Transmission & Distribution System (5th batch)

Eligibility criteria:

  • B.Tech/B.E. or equivalent in electrical engineering from recognized university/institution.
  • Final year candidates can also apply.

Selection procedure: Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of marks obtained in 10th, 12th, Engineering Degree, etc. and Counselling

Seats reservation:

10 % of the seats are reserved for the sponsored candidates from SEBs/ power utilities having B.Tech/B.E (Electrical) with 1 year relevant experience.

Age limit:

  • For Non-Sponsored candidates, the age limit is 27 years as on 21.04.2014.
  • No age limit for the Sponsored candidates.

Fees:

For Non-Sponsored candidates-, 1, 30, 000/-

For Sponsored candidates-1, 50,000/- excluding the lodging &boarding charges.

Caution Money of Rs. 5000/- to be deposited by the students at the time of admission which would be refunded back after completion of the course.

Total No. of seats available: 60 (sixty seats –provisional)

Placement: Through CBIP is not committed for any confirmed placement, the students of such previous completely batches have been placed in various companies through CBSIP’s linkage and the efforts of students themselves.
