Gujarat Common Entrance Test GUJCET is conducted for admission into the bachelors programs in Engineering, Medical and Pharmacy offered in the various government/government aided, universities and private colleges/institutes across Gujarat. The task of conducting the examination is entrusted with various universities of Gujarat on rotation basis by the Government of Gujarat.

- BDS - Bachelor of Dental Surgery
- B Pharma - Bachelor of Pharmacy
The candidate must have passed their Higher Secondary or equivalent examination from science stream, conducted by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board or an equivalent examination, from any of the recognized board. Candidates who have appeared in the final of the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply.
Candidates who are the son / daughter of an officer/defense personnel/ employee of the Government of Gujarat are also eligible to appear in the Gujarat CET.
GUJCET examination comprises of objective type questions from the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. Applicants appear for a different combination of subjects, according to their preferred field, either in Medicine, Engineering or Pharmacy.
Candidate appearing in the GUJCET prepare for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. Candidates study for different combination of subjects according to their preferred field. The standard of examination followed is that of intermediate level. Gujarat CET entrance test paper is conducted in three mediums English, Hindi and Guajarati.
