Integrated Common Entrance Test, popularly known as ICET, is the basis for admissions to Master of Computer Application (MCA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) courses offered by various colleges / institutes in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The test is conducted by any university of Andhra Pradesh on rotation basis, at the directives of the Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE), a statutory body of the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

 

Courses

  • MBA - Master of Business Administration
  • MCA - Master of Computer Application

 

Eligibility

MBA

The candidate must have passed a bachelor's degree examination of not less than three years duration from any recognized university or equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects.

 

MCA

The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree of not less than three years duration in any discipline with Mathematics at 10+2 level or should have passed bachelor's degree examination of not less than three years duration in any discipline with Mathematics as one of the subjects.

 

Candidates appearing for the final of the qualifying examination are also eligible to appear in the entrance test. They must also satisfy the local / non-local status as required by the Government rules.

 

Examination Pattern

ICET is an objective test, based on multiple choices. The question paper consists of three sections. There is no system of negative marking in the examination.

 

Section A

It is based on the Analytical Ability (Problem Solving and Data Sufficiency).

 

Section B

Thissectionis based on Mathematical Ability (Arithmetic Ability, Algebraic & Geometrical Ability and Statistical Ability).  

 

Section C

Thissectionis based on Communication Ability (Vocabulary, Business and Computer Technology, Functional Grammar, Reading Comprehension).

 

Syllabus

ICET Entrance Test is designed to measure the candidates’ ability to think systematically, to employ the verbal and mathematical skills and to judge his/her aptitude for admission into MBA/MCA program. Candidates appearing for the entrance test have to prepare on the grounds such as Analytical Ability (Problem Solving and Data Sufficiency), Mathematical Ability (Arithmetic Ability, Algebraic & Geometrical Ability and Statistical Ability) and Communication Ability (Vocabulary, Business and Computer Technology, Functional Grammar, Reading Comprehension

You should consider the fee structure and if you consider doing this course from other place except Chittoor, you should consider hostel facilities, you shouldalso consider whether the subject in which you wish to continue this course is available in the college.

In India, the present duration of MBBS course is 5.5 years, The actual course period is 4.5 years and one year of rotating internship should be completed, you can find some good MBBS colleges in Muzaffarpur-Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology
