PMET

Punjab Medical Entrance Test is conducted by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot through Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. PMET is held for admission into the first year of the programs like MBBS, BDS and BAMS into the various government and private affiliated medical colleges/institutes under Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot in Punjab. MBBS in Christian Medical College and Ludhiana and BSc Nursing in College of Nursing, Ludhiana follow separate rules for the admission.

MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery

BDS - Bachelor of Dental Surgery

BAMS - Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery

BHMS - Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery

 

Eligibility

MBBS, BDS, BAMS

The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with 50% (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from a recognized board. The candidate must have attained 17 years of age and must be permanent resident of the state of Punjab.

BHMS

The candidate must have passed their 10+2 or equivalent examination with 40% (for SC/ BC 33%) marks in aggregate with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from a recognized board or in PCB group.

 

Examination Pattern

  • PMET test paper consists of objective type multiple-choice questions.
  • Questions are asked from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
  • There is the system of negative marking for a wrong answer attempted by the candidate.

Hii, yes you can take admission in MBA, but for getting good MBA college in Kendrapara, you have to clear entrance exam i.e. CAT, MAT

No, for getting admission in IIMs for management course, you should have to clear entrance exam, but there are many other MBA colleges in Mysore where without entrance you can take admission

If a phase I test taker of Etawah oe other places is not satisfied his/her performance in the test or if a candidate has missed out to apply for NEET, he/she can apply for phase 2 exam, It is a second chance provided to aspiring candidates.
