Uttar Pradesh Combined Pre Medical Test (UP CPMT) is conducted every year for admission into various medical colleges of Uttar Pradesh. It is conducted to select the students for various undergraduate level of medical course. It is meant exclusively for the candidates residing within the state of Uttar Pradesh. Every year numerous students take up this entrance test to get admission in the reputed medical colleges. UP CPMT is held at various examination centers across important cities and towns of the state.
MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery
BDS - Bachelor of Dental Surgery
BAMS - Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery
BHMS - Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine & Surgery
BUMS - Bachelor of Unani Medicine & Surgery
The candidate should have passed the 10+2 level of examination from UP Board or any other Board / University or an equivalent examination with physics chemistry and biology. The applicant should be a citizen of India and a bonafide (permanent) resident of the State of Uttar Pradesh. He/she must have attained 17 years of age.
The candidate should be Madhyama Examination Passed from Sampurnanand Sanskrit University, Varanasi.
The candidate must pass their Higher Secondary Examination or equivalent examination passed with Urdu.
The eligibility conditions will be as specified by the Medical Council of India.
The UP CPMT entrance test paper comprise of the sections like physics, chemistry, botany and zoology with a set of all objective types of questions. The examination will be conducted in two parts.
Paper I: The first paper will contain questions from Zoology and Botany.
Paper II: The second paper will have questions from Chemistry and Physics.
The short listed candidates are called for an interview and group discussion.
UP CPMT entrance test follows the intermediate (10+2) pattern followed by most boards across India. Questions are asked from physics, chemistry, botany and zoology. The questions are based in the standard of intermediate level.
