Institutions like Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) stand unique among the set of self-financing colleges in the State, Cooperation Minister G Sudhakaran said here on Saturday. Inaugurating the Pharm D (Regular) and Pharm D(Post Baccalaureate) courses at AIMS here on Saturday, Sudhakaran said the institutions in the State should accept Annamalai University as a model. It was the Annamalai University which launched the Pharm D courses for the first time in the country,” Sudhakaran
said. AIMS has become the first college in the State to launch Pharm D courses. President of Indian Pharmaceutical Congress Association SL Nassa delivered the keynote address. Karunamritha Chaitanya, Medical Director Dr Prem Nair and Amrita School of Pharmacy principal Dr KG Ravikumar were present.
