About IBPS RRB 2017:

IBPS RRB

  • Any candidate aspiring to join any of the Regional Rural Banks will have to register himself/herself to IBPS RRB, which stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Regional Rural Banks.
  • This recruitment process is referred to as CWE for RRB. For the year 2017, it is referred to as CWE for RRB-VI.
  • This recruitment process is conducted for officers scale I and office assistants.
  • The examination will be carried out in a couple of stages. 
  • The online examination will be held in a couple of phases, and they are preliminary and main examinations.
  • Candidates applying for Office Assistant (Multipurpose) position will be provisionally allotted recruitment based on the marks they obtain in the main examination and on the basis of vacancies reported by the Regional Rural Banks in India.
  • In the case of Officers Scale I position, candidates will have to qualify in the preliminary examination, and those shortlisted will have to appear for the main examination.
  • Candidates shortlisted through the main examination for Officers Scale I position will be called further for the common interview. The NABARD and IBPS will coordinate the interview in consultation with suitable authority.
  • In this recruitment process, candidates can also apply for scale II (generalist and specialists) and scale III that will have to appear for a single online examination. Shortlisted candidates will then be called for the common interview that will be coordinated by the NRRB (Nodal Regional Rural Banks) with the assistance of NABARD and IBPS.
