Use Analysis as the Strategy to Solve Reasoning as Against Simulation:
The reasoning sections form part of IBPS RRB exam for all position. In general, this section will have 40 questions. The theme of the questions will be directions, arrangements, puzzles, inequalities, syllogism and blood relations. To secure good marks in this section, which is considered as the toughest of all sections, candidates are recommended to pay more attention the analytical part of reasoning as against going hard by looking for shortcuts to answer the questions. To secure decent mark in this section, it is important that candidates should achieve 97-98 percent accuracy in solving 25-30 questions.
Pay Attention to Quantitative Section:
This section also forms an important part in most of the officer positions even though, this part is not a part of office assistant and scale-I officer. There will be 40 questions in this section and the difficulty level is generally moderate to high. There will be a deduction of marks for wrong answers. Keeping this in mind, candidates should try to quickly complete this section as they will get more time to focus on other tests, such that they can get a total overall score. The key to crack this test is practice. With regular practice, calculations can be done quickly and this, in turn, will bring better overall score.
The key to Solving General Awareness Section is to Read Newspapers Daily:
General awareness section is the part of the main examination for Office Assistant and Scale- I office positions. To score well in this section, it is important that candidates should read newspapers on a daily basis to gain financial and banking awareness. Nearly 75% of questions in this section comes directly from newspapers. Some of the topics on focus in this section include fiscal and monetary policies, RBI functions, banking terminologies, history of banking, agriculture, Indian constitution, finance, awards and honours, latest developments in sports and questions related to the Indian economy.
Knowing Computer Shortcuts will Help with Computer Awareness Section:
Computer awareness section is the main part of the IBPS RRB examination for officer positions. As the computer is not a vast topic in this examination, score good marks in computer awareness is not a tough task. It is better to develop knowledge on basics of computers, networks like LAN and WAN, MS Office, computer shortcuts, etc.
