  • In the table above indicate that these sections are just for qualifying purpose and their marks will not be added for preparation of merit list for interview.

  • IBPS has the right to make changes to the structure of the examination. If any such changes happen, the same will be intimated through the official website of IBPS.

  • Candidates can get other detailed information about the examination through the information handout that will be made available to them for downloading along with their call letters from the official website of IBPS.
  • As given in the table above for the CWE examination, there will be separate timing for each test.

  • The questions will be in objective type format.

  • The test takers will have to qualify in each test by passing and the passing mark will be decided by IBPS.

  • For CWE, there will be the negative mark for wrong answers.

  • There will be a reduction of a 1/4th or 0.25 mark for each wrong answer.

  • The passing mark for each test will be decided by IBPS on the basis of the performance of competing candidates taken together in each test to the least required level.

  • Besides passing all tests, candidates will also have to secure minimum percentage of aggregate marks to get shortlisted for the main examination and for the interview.

2. Interview Phase:

  • Candidates shortlisted from CWE will be called for the interview that will be conducted by the participating banks and the same will be coordinated by the nodal banks with the help of IBPS.

  • The interviews will be conducted in selected centres.

  • The address of the centre, time and date of interview will be intimated to shortlisted candidates through call letter.

  • Candidates should download their interview call letter from the official website of IBPS at www.ibps.in.

  • IBPS will not entertain any request for change of centre, date or time of interview.

  • However, the organising agencies have the right to change the centre, time, venue and date of the interview. This might happen during unforeseen circumstances.

  • The total mark allotted for the interview is 100. To qualify for the final selection, candidates should secure at least 40% (35% for reserved category candidates). The weightage will be given to the written test and interview in the ratio of 80:20 respectively.

  • The combined final score of applicants will be arrived based on the total scores obtained in CWE and interview.

  • If a candidate does not secure the qualifying mark in the interview, he/she will be barred from further processes.

  • When appearing for the interview at the allocated centre and time, candidates will have to produce valid prescribed documents. In the absence of documents, the candidature will be cancelled. Either Nodal Bank/IBPS or the participating banks are not responsible for a loss of any documents sent by candidates through other sources.

  • Candidates can see the list of documents in the notification page once it is out.

Provisional Allotment:

  • On successful completion of the process of interview, based on the number of vacancies to be filled, candidates shortlisted will be provisionally allotted to one of the participating banks.
