Even though you can gain the satisfaction of saving the life of people, you will have to face a lot of stressful situations in your profession.

How many doctors make?

It is not possible to state a specific number in this regard. For instance, doctors employed as Medical officers make an average pay of Rs.3 to Rs.4.5 lakhs per annum. On the other hand, some doctors are making really great money due to their specialisation. Even a single appointment to the doctor costs around Rs.1000 per sitting.

In addition, the fee charged by medical doctors practising separately greatly differs according to their practising location. Those practising in big cities are making huge, while those practising in small villages make less.
