The details regarding admission are given below:
Eligibility: Candidates should have cleared an undergraduate course in any discipline. Equivalent course in different SAARC countries would also be considered on a case by case basis. They must be proficient in English since all instruction and assignments at ACJ are in English.

@ Dristi, Admission Procedure Asian college of Journalism: Advertisements for admission to the ACJ each year are published in leading national dailies and on the SAF and ACJ web sites in early March. The ACJ holds a written test in many centres in India to assess the applicants’ English language competence and General Knowledge. Candidates from India shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the test are called for an interview at Chennai, after which the final admission list is drawn up. @ Sarfraz, Admission Details After a careful assessment of applications, short-listed candidates will take an entrance examination on Sunday, May 22, 2011. The examination will be offered in Thiruvananthapuram, Cochin, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Patna, Mumbai, New Delhi, and possibly other cities, depending on the number of applications received from a particular region. The examination will be in two parts: (a) to test the applicant’s English language skills and facility and (b) the awareness of current affairs and general knowledge. It will also test the candidates’ writing ability and assess their analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Other procedures may be prescribed for candidates from abroad. ENTRANCE EXAM Morning Session: 9.30 am to 11.30am English (Paper Pattern) Tea Break: 11.30 am – 12 noon Afternoon Session: 12 pm to 1.30 pm General Knowledge (Paper pattern) INTERVIEW Applicants from India who have done well in the entrance examination will be invited to an interview at the College in early June. Final results will be announced in the third week of June 2011

Enrolled students should provide their degree certificate to the Registrar within the first week of commencement of classes. Students awaiting their examination results should provide their degree certificate latest by the end of February 2011.
