Master of Commerce (M.Com.) in Advanced Accounting

This is a two year post graduate course.

The College offers M.Com. with specialisation in Advanced Accounting. The course is designed to cater to the needs of students who desire extensive knowledge in the field of Accountancy. This course is managed by both full-time in-house and visiting faculty from other institutes and industry.

Master of Commerce (M. Com.) in Business Management

This is a two year post graduate course.

The College also offers M.Com. with specialisation in Business Management. The course is designed to cater to the needs of students who desire extensive knowledge in the field of Management. This course is managed by both full-time in-house and visiting faculty from other institutes and industry.

A student with an M.Com. degree could pursue a career either in academia or in industry or choose to engage in further studies.

Higher Secondary Certificate (Commerce)

The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) is a two-year programme.

After H.S.C. one may opt for a three year degree course leading to a general Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree or for specialised degree courses like Bachelor of Management Studies (B.M.S.), B.Com.(Accounting and Finance) and B.Com.(Banking and Insurance). Informatively, all these courses are offered by the College.

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.)

This is a three-year course.

A B.Com. degree provides a gateway to various professional courses like C.A., I.C.W.A., C.S., M.B.A., etc. A B.Com. graduate has diverse job opportunities in the stock exchange, insurance companies, banks, etc.

B.Com. in Accounting and Finance (B.A.F.)

This is a three-year self-financing course.

The duration of the course comprises six semesters spread over three years. The course allows the students to obtain an in-depth knowledge of Accounting and Finance. It also provides opportunities to gain a broader insight into financial aspects of Business and Management.

B.Com. in Banking and Insurance (B.B.I.)

This is a three-year self-financing course.

Tolani College of Commerce (TCC) was established in the year 1989 by the Tolani Education Society with the objective to promote academic activities in the north eastern suburbs of Mumbai. The College is affiliated to Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education and the University of Mumbai.

Tolani College of Commerce has been granted a minority status on linguistic (Sindhi) basis, by the Government of Maharashtra and University of Mumbai. Accordingly, for 50% of the seats, preference in admission is given to Sindhi students. Yet, students from the reserved categories and economically backward sections of the society are also encouraged to seek admission. In addition to this, students from all strata of society, irrespective of caste, creed, community, religion and financial background are also given admission, based on merit.

The College consistently strives to provide stimuli for the intellectual development of the students and firmly believes in upholding the dignity, uniqueness and value of each student. In addition it provides a diverse platform to hone the students talents and skills in sports, cultural and extension activities.
