NDA 2018 EXAM RESULT, CUT OFF

  • The result of the written test for NDA 2018 is likely to be declared in the month of July 2018.
  • Candidates succeeding in the written test are recommended to register themselves online on the website of Indian Army Recruitment- here.
  • The registration at the Indian Army website should be done within two weeks from the declaration of results.
  • Registered candidates would then be allocated appropriate selection centers along with dates at which they should attend the SSB interview. This information will be sent to their email ID.
  • When attending the interview, candidates should carry the originals of their matriculation and other certificates.

Marking Scheme:

  • For each wrong answer in the objective type questions, there will be a negative marking of 0.33 or 1/3rd of the total mark allocated for a particular question.
  • If a candidate gives more than a single correct choice, it will be treated as the wrong answer and there will be a deduction of marks.
  • There will not be any negative mark for questions that are not attended.

Minimum Cut-Off Scores for NDA:

  • NDA Cut-off is the minimum mark to be secured by candidates in the written test to qualify for the next level of the selection process.
  • The NDA Cut-off for the year 2018 will be decided based on previous year cut-offs, the level of competition (i.e.) the number of candidates taking up the written test, the level of difficulty of the written test and also the number of positions for which recruitment is done.
  • The total mark for the written test is 900 and candidates should meet both sectional and overall cut-off requirement as specified by UPSC to qualify for the next rounds of the selection process.
  • NDA Cut-off for mathematics is general is candidates will have to secure at least 30% of marks of the total marks allocated for this section. This means that for 300 total marks, they should secure at least 90 marks.
  • As far as General Ability Test is concerned, the minimum cut-off required is 180 marks. This is arrived at by taking 30% out of total 600 marks allocated for this section.
