SSC CGL RESULT 2018, CUT OFF

The Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level Examination is conducted for recruitment of the right talents. The SSC CGL was held in August 2017. Now, the result of the examination is out on the 31st of October 2017.

Every year, the Staff Selection Commission issues notification for the recruitment of candidates for the CGL recruitment examination. This test is for filling vacancies in different government departments, organisations and ministries functioning under the government.

Results for Tier – I Exam:

The results of the tier-I exam that was held in August is out, and the test takers can now check their results from the official website of SSC at www.ssc.nic.in.

When was The Test Conducted?

The SSC CGL 2017 Tier – I examination was conducted as a computer-based test from the 5th of August to the 24th of August. The test was conducted at different centres in India. The total number of appeared candidates is 15,43,418. By the result, here is data showing the number of candidates, who have been provisionally selected for Tier-II and Tier-III:

How Can Test Takers Check Their Results?

Here are the steps involved:

  1. The test taker will have to visit the official website of Staff Selection Commission.
  2. On the home page of SSC, he will find a section called ‘results.’
  3. Here, there will be a couple of options – Write up and results.
  4. The result option should be selected, which will take the candidate to a PDF page.
  5. In this page, the candidate should search for his name and roll number.
  6. To view the category-wise cut off marks, the ‘write up’ option should be chosen.
  7. Finally, the results can be downloaded.
