CMS stands for Common Medical Services Examination.
It is conducted by Union Public Service Commission.
The UPSC CMS exam is held to recruit candidates for various medical positions in various positions.
The exam was held to recruit the following posts:
Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in Railway
Assistant Medical Officers in Indian Ordnance Factories Health Services,
Junior Scale Posts in Central Health Services,
General Duty Medical Officers Gr-II in East Delhi Municipal Corporation, North Delhi Municipal Corporation and South Delhi Municipal Corporation,
General Duty Medical Officers in New Delhi Municipal Council.
The recruitment process comes under the rules published by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (Dept. of Health).
The examination is conducted in two papers, each of 250 marks.
Latest: UPSC CMS written examination recruitment has been declared on 6th September 2017. The candidate who has qualified in the written examination, have to fill and submit the DAF that is Detailed Application Form which will be available on 14th September. And the last date to submit the DAF of UPSC CMS is 26th September.
UPSC has 710 vacancies for the post of Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in Railways.
