  • The primary eligibility criteria require a candidate to be one of the following:
  • A subject of Nepal
  • A citizen of India
  • A Tibetan Refugee, who has settled down in India earlier than 1st January 1962.
  • A subject of Bhutan
  • A person who is of Indian origin who earlier belonged to Eastern Africa or Indian subcontinent has settled permanently reside in India.


  • A candidate should not be more than 32 years as on 13 August 2017.
  • However, there are certain relaxations applicable for candidates belonging to various reservation quotas.

  • The date of birth mentioned on the result/ mark sheet of the University/ Institution will be considered as original and age is verified accordingly.


  • The exam recruits the doctors, so every candidate is required to possess an MBBS degree
  • The candidate who have cleared the written exam and practical exam can also apply, provided they have their mark sheet of the final exam with them.
  • The candidates should possess the degree from MCI recognised University in India.
