  • AIIMS MBBS 2018 entrance test as the name implies is for admission to the MBBS course.
  • Based on the score of this test, students will be eligible to seek admission to All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi and AIIMS functioning in 6 other cities.
  • The six other cities in which AIIMS are located in India are Bhopal, Patna, Jodhpur, Rishikesh, Raipur and Bhubaneswar
  • As far as 2018 is concerned, the test is planned to be held on the 28th of May 2018
  • The official notification for the May 2018 examination will be out tentatively on the 24th of January 2018
  • The result of the May 2018 examination will be out on the 14th of June 2018
  • When NEET UG is conducted for admission to MBBS course all over the country, AIIMS MBBS is the single window examination for admission to AIIMS.
  • AIIMS MBBS will be conducted as computer based test and the test will be conducted in two shifts.
  • The rank secured in this test will be used for seat allotment to the test takers.
  • The test will be conducted in different centers all over India on the 28th of May 2018
  • The total number of seats for MBBS course in New Delhi AIIMS is 72, while for other 6 AIIMS, the total number of seats is 100 for the MBBS course.
