Candidates meeting the requirements given below shall be eligible to appear for AP EAMCET 2018:
Candidates should be of Indian origin or he must Indian nationals or Overseas citizen of India (OCI) card holders.
The applicants must belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh or Telangana
They should satisfy local/non-local status requirements as stated by the AP/Telangana state.
To apply to the Engineering, Bachelor of Pharmacy, Pharm. D, B. Tech diary, agricultural engineering, foods science and technology and B. Sc agricultural engineering, candidates must meet the following requirements:
To apply for these courses through AP EAMCET, applicants must have passed or must have appeared for the final year of the 10+2 pattern of intermediate examination with mathematics, physics, and chemistry as optionals or related vocational courses in the fields of engineering/technology that is conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education of AP or Telangana. Or
Applicants should have completed or should have appeared at the final year of the diploma examination in engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training of AP or Telangana or any other examination as recognized as equivalent there to by the State Board of Technical Education and Training of AP/Telangana.
To apply to engineering/pharmacy courses, the applicants must have completed 16 years of age as on the 31st December of the year of admission. There is no upper age restriction applicable.
In the case of candidates applying to B. Tech in Dairy technology, agricultural engineering, FS & T and B. Sc in Agricultural Engineering, candidates must have completed at least 17 years of age as on the 31st December of the year of admission. Also, the upper age limit is 22 years for all and 25 years for SC/ST candidates as on the same date mentioned above.
In the case of candidates applying to Pharm. D course, the applicants should have completed or should have appeared for the final year of the intermediate course with mathematics, chemistry, and physics as optional subjects. They should have completed this course from an institution functioning under the Board of Intermediate Education either in AP or in Telangana or any other similar examination as recognized by the board of intermediate education as equivalent thereto. Otherwise, candidates must have completed or must have appeared in the final year of the diploma course in pharmacy conducted by the AP/Telangana State Board of Technical Education and Training.
Candidates must have secured at least 45% of marks (40% for reserved category candidates) in the subjects specified about together in the qualifying examination.
The applicants must have completed 17 years of age as on the 31st of December of the year in which they are seeking admission to the courses through EAMCET.
For B.V. Sc & A.H/B. Sc (Agri)/B. Sc (Horti)/B.F. Sc/B. Tech (FS&T) courses, candidates must have passed or should have appeared for the final year of the intermediate examination or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education of the state of AP or Telangana.
Candidates must have studied any two or three subjects indicated against the course as stated below:
B. Sc (Agri) and B. Sc (horticulture) – Physical sciences, biological or natural sciences, agriculture and vocational course in agriculture.
B. V. Sc & AH – Physical sciences, biological or natural sciences, vocational courses in veterinary sciences
B.F. Sc - Physical sciences, biological or natural sciences, vocational courses in fishery sciences
B. Tech (FS & T), B. Pharmacy & Pharm – D – Mathematics, physical sciences or physical sciences, biological or natural sciences.
