  • To apply for APICET 2018, the applicants must be Indian nationals and they should also meet the local/non-local status requirements as laid down by the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations of admission order 1974).
  • In addition, candidates should check and should meet the eligibility requirement as specified by the appropriate university or institution, where they wish to get admission.
  • Candidates seeking admission should have studied and should have passed three-year degree course in any faculty that is conducted by the universities or its equivalent degree examination in 10+2+3 pattern as recognized by the University Grants Commission.

  • MBA – To apply to this course, candidates must have completed their three-year degree course from a recognized university or its equivalent with mathematics as one of the subjects at 10th level.
  • MCA –To apply for MCA, candidates must have a three-year degree with mathematics as one of the subjects either at the intermediate or at the degree level.  Candidates, who have passed all subjects of the three-year in any degree course in a single sitting, are not eligible for admission to MCA/MCA course.
  • Only candidate, with at least 50% of marks (45% for reserved category candidates) alone are eligible to take up admission through ICET according to the latest AICTE approval process.
  • Apart from these eligibility requirements, it is important that candidates should fulfil the eligibility requirement as laid down in the relevant government orders in vogue at the time of admission.
  • The qualifying degree obtained through distance mode should have the recognition from the joint committee of DEC/DEB, AICTE and UGC.
  • Candidates in the final year of their qualifying course are also eligible to apply for APICET 2018.
