To apply for APICET 2018, the applicants must be Indian nationals and they should also meet the local/non-local status requirements as laid down by the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations of admission order 1974).
In addition, candidates should check and should meet the eligibility requirement as specified by the appropriate university or institution, where they wish to get admission.
Candidates seeking admission should have studied and should have passed three-year degree course in any faculty that is conducted by the universities or its equivalent degree examination in 10+2+3 pattern as recognized by the University Grants Commission.

MBA – To apply to this course, candidates must have completed their three-year degree course from a recognized university or its equivalent with mathematics as one of the subjects at 10th level.
MCA –To apply for MCA, candidates must have a three-year degree with mathematics as one of the subjects either at the intermediate or at the degree level. Candidates, who have passed all subjects of the three-year in any degree course in a single sitting, are not eligible for admission to MCA/MCA course.
Only candidate, with at least 50% of marks (45% for reserved category candidates) alone are eligible to take up admission through ICET according to the latest AICTE approval process.
Apart from these eligibility requirements, it is important that candidates should fulfil the eligibility requirement as laid down in the relevant government orders in vogue at the time of admission.
The qualifying degree obtained through distance mode should have the recognition from the joint committee of DEC/DEB, AICTE and UGC.
Candidates in the final year of their qualifying course are also eligible to apply for APICET 2018.
