Last Date of registration for CAT 2017 has been extended to 25th September 2017

  • Common Admission Test (CAT) 2017 is the competitive entrance exam for pursuing postgraduate programmes in Management.
  • CAT is conducted by the IIMs (Indian Institutes of Management) on a rotational basis.
  • CAT 2017 will be conducted by Indian Institute of Management Lucknow. 
  • It is a computer-based national level management entrance examination.
  • It is the gateway to admission in 20 IIMs and numerous B-schools located across the country.
  • CAT 2017 scores will not only accepted by 20 IIMs in India but over 100 B-schools across the country. Around 4,000 seats are offered through these IIMs.
  • CAT is the biggest national level MBA entrance test is taken by more than 2 lakh candidates every year
  • The IIMs conduct this national level examination on the rotation basis. Every year many candidates appear in this examination, and the number is increasing every year.
  • The students are informed to consider CAT 2017 for admission in the year 2017.
  • CAT 2017 will be conducted in online mode (Computer-based test) only.

The registration for the Common Admission Test (CAT)2017 to IIM and other leading B-schools have shot up to a seven-year high, with 2,32,434 applications received for CAT 2016 as against 2,18,664 registrations for the CAT 2015.
