GET ANSWER KEY OF IISER 2018 EXAM
The IISER - Indian Institute of Science Education and Research: Admission to the five-year integrated BS-MS course offered by the institutions is done based on the merit secured in different exams.
What are the Modes?
The first mode is through KVPY exam, the second is JEE Advanced Exam and the third one, which is applicable only for state board toppers, is IISER Aptitude Test, which is conducted by IISER itself. Candidates with higher secondary qualification can apply to the BS-MS course and also the IISER Aptitude Test, only if they are state board toppers.
What is the Total Number of Seats for BSMS Course in IISER?
The total number of seats available for the course is 1285. This number is divided among the different branches of IISER as per the chart is given below:
With this chart, candidates know the number of seats available for the BS-MS course in different branches of IISER. They can judge whether they can get admission to a specific branch based on the records on the admission offered to the rank holders in the aptitude test at different branches of the institution.
Are There Seats Available for Foreign Students?
Yes, IISER offers the facility for international students to get admission. They can apply through the JEE channel. International students with less than 10,000 rank in the CRL of the IIT JEE will become eligible for admission to the BS-MS course.
Was There Any Objection for Answer Keys in the Past?
Yes, in the previous IISER aptitude test, similar to other tests, there were 60 questions in total. Out of which the question number 59 was removed from the assessment just because objections were raised for the answer given in the answer key for this question in the test.
So, after the release of official answer key, the test takers will get the option to raise their objections. Based on their objections, if it is worth, it will be considered by IISER.
