  • IRMA stands for Institute of Rural Management Anand.
  • IRMA conducts the entrance test of Issues of Social Concern (ISC).
  • The examination is conducted for admission to Post Graduate Program in Rural Management (PRM) and Fellow Program in Rural Management (FPRM).
  • The candidates must appear in CAT 2016/ XAT 2018 to be eligible for examination.

  • IRMA PG course in Rural Management is for preparing talented young managers, who become eligible enough to take up responsibilities that are filled with challenges and also duties in rural development organisations and co-operatives.
  • The PG Diploma course in rural management for which, the IRMA conducts this entrance test is a two-year residential course. This course is equivalent to the Master’s degree from the Association of Indian Universities.
  • IRMA offers this course with the approval of the AICTE.
  • At the end of this course, the candidates will gain high-valued jobs in different sectors. For instance, they will get jobs in funding agencies, development organisations, international co-operatives not just at national level, but also at the global level. Even, they can get jobs in NGOs. A campus Placement Programme is also in place at the institution.
  • IRMA admits candidates for the Fellowship program through IRMA entrance test. This course FPRM is a doctoral course with three years minimum and seven years maximum duration. This course is ideal for students and professional in knowledge-based positions, teaching, and in research in Rural Management Institutions.
  • The fellowship program aims to develop scholars and teachers in rural management. It is also for stimulating research and educational work at IRMA.
