JEE mains Application form | 2018

  • The Application Form for JEE Mains 2018 is available on the official website from 1st week of December 2017 to 1st week of January 2018.
  • JEE Mains application form procedure includes the registration process, uploading of images (photograph, signature, and left thumb impression in JPEG formats) and the payment of application.
  • The Application fee of JEE Mains 2018 can be paid through net banking/debit card/credit card and E-Challan.
  • Before applying for JEE Mains, all candidates should know the eligibility criteria. You will get all the details about JEE Mains application below-

Firstly, candidates need to collect all the following documents and details which are required at the time of filling application form of JEE Main 2018.

Documents/Details Required:

  • All the Indian candidates should possess AADHAAR card issued by UIDAI. While filling the application form, the candidates will have to enter their AADHAAR number, name, date of birth and gender which is validated with UIDAIs data. In case, these entries do not match; the students will not be able to fill the application form.
  • Valid Email ID and Contact Number.
  • Qualification and other personal details.
  • Payment details of Application.
  • Passport size photograph scanned with the name and the date mentioned below (image should be in JPEG format with the size between 10 KB to 40 KB and the image should be coloured having the clear background with 3.5 x 4.5 cm dimension).
  • Scanned signature made by the candidate on a white page within the 3.5 x 1.5 cm box size. The image should be in JPEG format with the size of 1 KB to 30 KB.
  • Scanned left thumb impression for both girls and boys on a white sheet with 3.5 x 1.5 cm dimension. The image should be in JPEG format with the size of 1 KB to 30 KB.

How to Apply:

Step-1: Online Registration

Visit Official Link: Follow the official link. Click on 'Apply' for JEE Mains 2018. Read all the instructions very carefully, tick the checkbox and click on 'Proceed' to apply online.

Step-2: Fill Details

Exam Related Details: Select exam, mode of exam, exam centre and question paper medium.

Personal Details: Applicant's name, Mother's name, Father's name, category, PWD, DOB, Gender, Single girl case, Nationality, Place of residence and Aadhaar card number (Optional).

Academic Details: Fill the details like Year of passing of 10th class, Board name (12th), Name of qualifying exam passed/appeared, year of passing/appearing, Institution type roll no. name & address of the school from where passed/appeared.

Address Details: Fill the complete Address, Locality, City, District, State, Pin, Email, Mobile No. and the Landline Number.

Other Important Details: Choose guardian's qualification, occupation, and their income. Choose password and security code. Enter security pin and click on the Next button.

Final Submit: After clicking on 'Submit', a review window will open. Review the application form properly. If you want to edit something, edit it. Click on the 'Submit' button.

Step-3: Upload the Images

Click on Upload Scanned Images section. Click on 'Choose File' button to select the images of signature, thumb impression, and photograph. Click on the 'Preview' button and upload the images.

Step-4: Fee Payment

  • After uploading the images, you have to choose 'Pay Examination Fee' option. After this, choose your payment mode i.e. credit/debit card or e-challan.
  • In the case of payment through the card, candidates are required to enter their card details and pay the application fee.
  • In the case of the payment through e-challan, candidates will be needed to generate the printout of the e-challan and take it to the selected bank and make fee payment for the exam.

Step-5: Confirmation Page

After the successful payment of the exam fee, candidates will be asked to take out the print of the confirmation page. Candidates are suggested to keep that print out for future references.

JEE Mains Application Form Correction:

Candidates who have made mistakes in the application form can get a chance to make corrections. The JEE Mains correction window will be open only for one week in the 2nd half of January 2018.
