The Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology - KIIT conducts the KIITEE test for admission to courses other than MBBS and BDS. Every year this entrance test is conducted in April from around 14th to 23rd of the month. As far as medical and dental courses are concerned, admission is done through NEET.

When is the Result Published?

The result will be declared in the last week of May month. Even though there is just a week difference between the test date and result declaration date, candidates can check for answer key for the KIITEE test online. The result is published on the university website.

Candidates can see their results from the website of the university by using their application number. Also, qualified candidates will get their rank card with the rank they have secured in the entrance test to their address. Candidates can also be able to download the rank card from official website of the university.

Is Admission Through KIITEE done Only for UG Courses?

No, based on the KIITEE score, admission is done not just to UG or PG courses. Both UG and PG course admission is done based on the merit secured by test takers in KIITEE.

How about Counseling?

Based on the availability of seats in different courses, the cut-off rank for counselling will be notified. Candidates with ranks above the cut-off rank will be invited for counselling. In the case of same ranks being secured by two candidates, inter-se merit of such candidates will be determined as per university norms.

Reservation Rule:

The University will prepare a separate merit list for each Category. The reservation policy will be as per the chart is given below:

Out of the total reservation, 30% of seats for each category will be reserved for women candidates.  However, this rule is applicable only to B. Tech and B. Tech/M. Tech (dual degree).
