LPUNEST APPLICATION FORM, PROCEDURE 2017

  • LPU has made the application process online very friendly for students.
  • In the home page, at the top section, they will find a tab that shows admissions followed by apply for 2017. When they take their mouse to this place, they will find a drop down menu, where they can find ‘how to apply’ section.

  • When they click on ‘how to apply’, they will find online help to find a suitable course.
  • For instance, let us consider that a student wishes to apply for engineering with his/her qualification as 10+2.
  • First, on the type of program the student looks for, he/she should select Standard/Regular.
  • Then, the candidate should choose his/her last qualification as 12th.
  • Then, on the interested discipline, the student should choose ‘engineering’
  • Then, he/she should select the stream of interest. Finally, they should click on the ‘search’ tab.
  • This will take him to the step-by-step guide on ‘how to apply’
  • The first step in the application process is signup. In this step, the applicant will have to register on the admission portal of LPU with fundamental details like name, mobile number and Email ID. Their email id will become their username for the website and they will set their own password when they register with the portal. A mail will be sent by the LPU website to their registered email ID in this respect.
  • Then, they should login to the admission portal of the university with the username and password.
  • The second step is application for admission and payment of registration fee.
  • In the second step, students will have to follow the onscreen procedure to apply online. Here, they have the option to proceed with admission or they can also skip this second and also the third step of document uploading and verification and can move on to the 4th step of applying to LPUNEST.
  • The third step of the application process is document uploading and verification.
  • In this step, the applicant will have to upload recent photograph, a proof of his/her DOB like matriculation certificate or Aadhaar card. Then, the qualification examination certificate should be uploaded. For those, who have not yet received the certificate of the qualifying examination, they can submit the same later.
  • The fourth step is the application process is to apply for LPUNEST, which is not just an entrance, but also a scholarship test by paying the appropriate examination fee.
  • The final step is booking the examination slot. The slot involves selecting the preferred date, venue and time to appear for LPUNEST. The test is conducted in 150 cities across India.

LPUNEST Application fee:

  • Candidates will have to pay the appropriate registration fee in the second step of the application process.
  • Here, they have the option to skip this process and they can pay the examination fee alone for the entrance test.
  • Candidates can pay the part payment of Rs. 10,000, which includes the tuition fee of Rs.8400 for first semester, Rs.700 for LPUNEST and Rs.900 towards prospectus. Once the payment is successfully realized, the university will dispatch the prospectus to the residential address of the applicant.
  • Also, a unique AID and registration number will be generated and will be sent to the registered Email ID of the applicant.
  • After this, a representative will call the student from the university to guide him/her through the next steps of admission process. This means that the student will be provided with details about the total fee he/she should be paying for the selected course.
  • In addition, the representative will inform the student about the detailed eligibility requirement for the selected course. The student will also get details about scholarship available for the course. Any other specific query of the student will be answered by the representative.
