LPUNEST RESULT 2017, CUT OFF

  • In general, the eligibility result will be published by the University on the next day of the entrance test.
  • In addition, the scholarship result will be published on the specific date that is generally published on the website of the University.
  • Students can get to see their results using their login ID and password from the official website of the university.

Counselling for Admission to LPU:

  • Similar to that of the admission phases, counselling will also have two phases.
  • The first phase of counseling is called as Phase – IA.
  • The counseling and admission processes will continue after the announcement of eligibility results by the university.
  • For the candidates, who have applied under the first phase of the admission process, the online counselling and seat allocation date was 5th of May 2017 onwards.
  • The seats were allocated on the basis of the preference of the applicants.
  • After the seat allotment, the applicants will have to deposit the appropriate fee for the course through online mode.
  • They can also pay the fee in person by visiting the University campus or the campus office.
  • Students will have to follow these steps for final admission:
    • They should get their scorecard/rank
    • Fill the seat preference. Here, they have the option to give 5 preferences that can differ in stream and program. This means that B. Tech CSE and Integrated B. Tech and M. Tech can be given two different preferences.
    • The applicant will be provided with a specific programme admission in the first round of counselling on the basis of the seat availability and preference filled.
  • After the initial round of counselling, the up gradation of allotted seats will be done by the University. In the case of any vacant seats, it will be filled in the subsequent rounds.
  • Candidates will have to download their allotment letter.
  • They should deposit the initial payment of Rs.10000, which includes Rs.9100 towards programme fee of the first semester and Rs. 900 for applications for admissions to confirm their seat.
  • They should complete the admission process
  • They should upload the date of birth proof and 10+2 pass certificate or other recently appeared certificate.
  • All the documents submitted by the applicants must be verified from the originals within the prescribed timelines.
  • Within the timelines, students will have to deposit the balance fee as prescribed by the university.
