To take up NATA 2018, there is no lower age limit.
Candidates can be from any of the following educational backgrounds:
10+2 or equivalent either passed or will be appearing in March 2018 with mathematics as one of the subjects.
10+3 Diploma in any stream passed or appearing with a recognised state or central government institution with mathematics as a subject.
International Baccalaureate Diploma passed or appearing after 10 years of schooling with mathematics as a compulsory subject.
Even though the lower age limit to appear for NATA 2018 is waived, candidates are recommended to check whether they meet the age requirement if any specified by the respective admission or counselling authority.
For admission to the first year of the B.Arch course, candidates should meet the appropriate educational requirement as stated below-
Candidates with the following credentials alone can apply to the B. Arch course:
Qualified a recognised aptitude test like NATA or its equivalent in Architecture in the year 2018 or in 2016.
Have secured at least 50% of marks in 10+2 or its equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects or
Has a 10+3 Diploma in any stream from a recognised institution with at least 50% of aggregate marks with mathematics or
International Baccalaureate Diploma after 10 years of schooling with at least 50% of aggregate marks with mathematics as a compulsory subject.
There is no provision for direct lateral admission at any stage of the B. Arch course
