EXAM PATTERN, SYLLABUS OF NATA 2018

  • The pattern of the test is given in the table given below:

  • The total mark for the test is 200.
  • The test will be conducted on the 16th of April 2018 from 11 am to 2 pm.
  • For part A the total time allowed is 90 minutes, which will the first 90 minutes of the start of the examination.
  • For part B the total time allowed is 90 minutes, which will the second 90 minutes of the start of the examination.
  • For the drawing part, two sets of drawings are to be submitted in A4 size papers.
  • No further examinations will be held under any circumstances, for those, who have applied, but could not attend the examination for one reason or another.
  • At the time of the examination, all booklets will be issued to the test takers at the start in a single folder. The OMR answer sheets for the part A (MCQ) questions will be withdrawn from the test takers after 90 minutes.
  • Not just instructions, but also questions will be in English alone.
  • For questions in Part A, only a single option will be correct and the test takers will get two marks for each correct answer.
  • There will not be any negative marking, but in the case of tie-breaking, the wrong answers will be penalised.
  • Candidates should use blue or black ball point pen to bubble the correct answer in the OMR Sheet.
  • For the Part B, the drawings of test takers will be evaluated by more than a single examiner independently and the marks given by both of them will be averaged to arrive at the actual mark secured by a candidate.
