NCHMCT JEE RESULT 2018, CUT OFF

  • The results of the written test will be announced through the website of the council in the third week of May 2018.
  • The total number of seats for the B. Sc in Hospitality & Hotel Administration course in the council and its affiliated colleges is 8124.
  • The council has announced that the number of institutions and also the number of seats might increase or decrease marginally. Also, the information in this regard will be notified on the website of the council before the date of counseling.
  • As per the requirement during counseling, nearly 5-15% of extra seats over and above the intake capacity might be offered.

Counseling:

  • There will be three rounds of counseling based on merit. The detailed process of counseling will be made available in the counseling website of the council along with the declaration of the results on the third week of May.

Admission rules:

  • Admission to the first year of the course mentioned above will be strictly based on All India level ranking secured by candidates in JEE.
  • Ranks will be arrived at based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the written test.
  • There will not be any group discussion or interview, but there will be counselling.
  • Counselling is the process of checking the eligibility of candidates, verification of documents, depositing of fee towards counselling and first semester and also at this time, the students will be provided with the opportunity to opt for the choice of institutions as available on the day of counselling as per his/her All India Ranking.
  • Based on the information available in the respective website of institutions, candidates are provided with the option to give as many choices as possible.
  • Allotment of institution will be based on the All India Ranking and choice of institution exercised by the candidate.
  • Each Institute of Hotel Management functioning under the council shall reserve three seats for 10+2 rank holders one each for arts, science and commerce stream from among the 1st to 200 rank holders from respective streams from recognized boards of school examination.

Merit list:

  • All India merit list of candidates shall be prepared based on the marks secured in the written test.
  • In the case of candidates securing equal marks, the merit will be determined as follows:
    • Candidate securing higher mark in English component shall be ranked higher.
    • In the case of candidates securing equal marks in JEE and also English component in the test, then the candidate with higher mark in the service aptitude component will be ranked higher.
    • In the case of a tie in both cases, the candidate with older age will be given higher ranking.

Cut-off Trend:

  • Candidates can judge the cut-off marks for NCHMCT JEE 2018 for top colleges under the council based on the past trend for the year 2015 and 2014 for general category candidates, which is given in the following table:
