NEET PG 2018 EXAM RESULT, CUT OFF

  • For the NEET PG exam conducted recently, the result has been declared on the 15th of January 2018. So, candidates can expect results every year in the mid of January.

  • The passing criterion is 50% for general category candidates, 40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates and 45% for PWD candidates.
  • The score will be valid only for the appropriate admission session and cannot be carried forward to further years.

Cut-off:

  • If two or more candidates secure the same percentage of mark, their merit will be determined as per their age, wherein older candidates will be given preference than younger.
  • A percentile rank of a candidate will tell how well he/she has performed in the NEET PG as compared to others. On the other hand, a percentage rank is something that will say how well a candidate did in the test.
  • A percentile rank of a candidate will tell his/her merit position among the number of candidates, who has appeared for the test.
  • Different types of merit list will be prepared for NEET PG and they are All India NEET-PG Rank, All India 50% quota rank, all India 50% quota category rank, state quota/private medical college/deemed university/AFMS ranks.

  • NEET PG was previously conducted in the name of AIPGMEE and so candidates can check the past cut-off percentage for the different category for the year 2016 and 2015, which is given below:
